Urinate outdoors to avoid public restrooms as much as possible. Even consider doing the other thing outdoors. Mother nature. Just be sure to take off pants and underwear before OR ensure it's out of the way! First be sure there aren't any animals around (snakes, etc.). And, you will want to avoid squating over plants. If the area is covered with leaves, etc., to ensure there are no snakes, wave a stick over the area.

Bring along medical paper towels (or lotion) to clean your hands after you visit a public place.

Squat over the toilet rather than sit on it.

Flush with the smallest part of back of your finger. Better yet grab toilet paper and put over your hand.

Open doors with the least amount of back of your finger.

Shower boat man style. That is, turn off the water and soap up. This is to avoid the situation where the warm water runs out. Frankly, I recommend doing this at home during the warm season. The best time to deal with a drought is before it happens. Save water and money, a win-win situation.

Tent? A big tent so it looks like many people are staying there. A small tent says one person.
